    Pieces of us

These are on my right hand. The flames ring, my same sister gave to me in stead of a big gawky class ring. (Since I was homeschooled, this, was a nice addition). I love it, it’s heavy, chunky, and looks nice. It’s also solid sterling silver. The other, some of you may recognize, as I’ve posted it a few times in other places before. The signant ring of the Knights Templar. Stainless steel.

Does anyone wear some kind of trinket on a daily basis? Pendants, pins, rings, and such? The stories are always interesting. One of mine is this ear cuff. My sister gave it to me, she wears an identical cuff, but hers is a single band instead of a double.

The ring Etain gave me as an anniversary gift some years ago now. Two part stainless steel, engraved with the Lord’s Prayer.
  4. Odd, that my page views consistently climb, but the “recent visitors” does not reflect it.

Greetings everyone I'm new to the community

Welcome to the Refuge. It’s a fairly quiet safe place. Most of the activity is on the Discord channel, so check that out if you are able. Enjoy your stay.

    Stoneheart's Mustang project.

Alright, i figured it would be fun to make a thread for this, for whoever might be interested in following along. Yesterday i purchased a 1965 Mustang inline 6 cylinder coupe. And these are the before pictures. So, as i work on it, I'll try to remember to take pictures and post them as i go. My goal is to pass safty inspection by april 10th and get plates on it to take on a road trip to see family, but we'll see.

    Stoneheart's Mustang project.

Got the trans all bolted together nicely two weeks ago, and it did help.... but did not solve the problem. Upon further inspection, it turns out, my rear differential is basically gone.... this, surprises me, being such low miles, but does support a theory I’ve had for a couple years now.... so, this weekend I’ll be hopefully picking up a “new” complete rear end.... original part, but in pretty close to perfect shape according to the seller.... we’ll see.

Well, tonight, we hit a pretty big milestone. 10,000 ORIGINAL MILES.

Been since the fallout of 2012

Well, almost everything has changed. The site is still owned by the same person, but almost the entire staff has been changed. We’re on a different server now, the site got a major facelift, chat, is a Discord channel now, and the administration team, kicks ass. We did kinda have another exodus a couple years ago, following a bit of a staff civil war. But, it seems to have weeded out pretty much all the crap. So, welcome back! It’s good to see more old faces returning.

    Stoneheart's Mustang project.

First oil change of the year accomplished, and drove to work for the first time since spring. Ran pretty nice. Still need to adjust the timing though.

How often have you changed your fursona?

I have never changed my sona. I’ve developed the history and other details, but never changed the character.

    Help Plz

Yup, this is correct. Forums are basically open free roam. We also have a Discord channel, if you utilize that medium.

    Rebuilding my firstborn son

Figured I'd start a topic for my bike, like i did for the Mustang. Its fun and i like to share. .↵ As some of you may know, I have owned and enjoyed my Harley Davidson Sportster for over 7 years now. ↵ Back on August 6th, 2017, someone made an illegal left hand turn in front of me, cutting me off, resulting in my beloved firstborn being totaled by the insurance. Since then i've been working nearly every night after work to rebuild him. This thread is for anyone interested in tracking the progress, after the catchup to where i've built to. This is the damage, after i got him home... (i'll add more shots from home tonight.)

    Rebuilding my firstborn son

Replaced the front tire and wheel bearings yesterday. Was a bit more of a fight than I was anticipating.... more than it has in the past. But, got it all sorted.

Does anyone still follow this thread? Or am I posting into a void again?

    Rebuilding my firstborn son

Put a new intake breather together last weekend!!! Still some bugs to work out. It’s not totally finished yet, but functional. And exponentially better performance than the old one. At a whopping $15 investment vs the $250 for the old one... need to take some space out of the engine side, it just out juiuuust a touch too far for total comfort. And add rain guard mounting points.

    Rebuilding my firstborn son

Eliminated some wiring gremlins in my turn signals up front. The new signals came with those little crimp connectors on the ends of the wire leads, and these broke the wires on the light side..... the side the manufacturer installed.... all four connectors did this. Killing my lights in random turn for the last couple weeks... rewired, and solid soldering solved this issue. Oi. Very annoying though.

    Rebuilding my firstborn son

Re-enforced my sissybar, last weekend as well. Ever since the accident, it’s been cracked. And last Saturday, it finally snapped on the left side. So, I took it off and welded some bolsters to the base. It’s strong as all hell now.
  23. Another older name returning! Good to have you back!!!
