The only reason I’m not tearing it apart for that very reason, is mostly that I’ve already done 10k miles, with no issues, on top of how perfect it feels now.

Currently in progress of building a full exhaust header, to replace the awful flat log manifold.

Tack welded and fully fit. 

 

Next up is pulling it out and welding all seams fully.

All welded up. Time to grind off the slag and paint it for instal.

Cleaned up, painted, and ready. Just waiting for it to dry. 

 

Need a a couple more components to complete the instal, but this, was 90% of the work. 

 

All i I need is to make a 2-1 collector to connect to the factory exhaust pipe, for now, and a bit of hose for a vacuum line that was broken during tear down.

I did actually get that header installed the day after I posted the pictures of it hanging in paint. XD 

 

i was just so busy after that I forgot to upload.

spent last weekend pulling my seats, wire wheeling the rust off the inside of my floor, and finally sealing it correctly. 

 

laid down some heavy felt from work as a temporary carpet and sound damper, and put my seats back.
