Started it up and ran it just fine yesterday! Got the fender set up, and found several issues with it... Gonna adress those later. Next order of business is rebuilding my front master cylinder... Since it refuses to pump...

Probly going to make some spacer brackets for the front fender too... Move it forward to where it should be.

Just an update, this was just before I put the crash bars back on. Pics of that coming soon. Since it’s already dark.

Currently picking at the exhaust parts, and beginning the upgrade rebuild.

Just ordered the intake parts parts for the new breather to draw the next few horses out. XD

Step one of the exhaust. A new bracket. Well, first part of it. I will not be using the old rear mount for the new pipes, so a new one is required. This, is the first part of it. All that’s missing, is some clean up and the final tab itself the pipes will bolt to.

Finished cleaning up the bracket, might still grind it down a bit thinner, material wise.

Cut the tip off the old pipe, and the back half. Took some bend out of the upturn elbow, and added some straight back on the front of it.

Fitted up the rest of the pieces. Replicated the bend. And cleaned up the edges for welding. Tomorrow is gonna be a lot of welding. XD

So, some months ago, I ordered a new air filter for the performance intake I plan on fabricating from scrap for the Harley. And, this little shit, is what showed up.....

Supremely. Useless.

So, I wrote that bender a letter, got my cash back, and ordered the SAME FILTER from someone else.

I think they did a better job.

Re-enforced my sissybar, last weekend as well. Ever since the accident, it’s been cracked. And last Saturday, it finally snapped on the left side. So, I took it off and welded some bolsters to the base. It’s strong as all hell now.

Eliminated some wiring gremlins in my turn signals up front. The new signals came with those little crimp connectors on the ends of the wire leads, and these broke the wires on the light side..... the side the manufacturer installed.... all four connectors did this. Killing my lights in random turn for the last couple weeks...

rewired, and solid soldering solved this issue.  Oi. Very annoying though.

Put a new intake breather together last weekend!!! Still some bugs to work out. It’s not totally finished yet, but functional. And exponentially better performance than the old one. At a whopping $15 investment vs the $250 for the old one...

need to take some space out of the engine side, it just out juiuuust a touch too far for total comfort. And add rain guard mounting points.
