Hello and welcome to the madness >:3

intros might include some things like what’s your fursona like if you have one, what brought you to the site and the fandom, how long have you been a furry, what kind of things do you enjoy or hope to get your fingers/paws/toe beans/tentacles involved in?

and yes the discord is most active but we have many stories in the forum to read to read....and maaaaaany more to write!

Ahhhh. A completely fresh interest! Welcome to the club then! Do sit down, and we’ll try to answer any questions you may have.

Is is there any particular aspect or detail you’re more curious about? Or would a general synopsis be more appropriate?

A general synopsis would be great 😊

Well, that shouldn’t be too difficult. I’ve made this presentation several times.

At its base, the furry fandom is a subculture that most members creat a sort of character or characters to represent them on social, as well as fictional interactions.

Many have used this format as a way to overcome social anxiety. While others build characters to fulfill their wildest dreams or goals. And still others simply enjoy the art and writing that exists so richly in the community.

Some invest to an adult level, but it is neither required nor expected of anyone, should you decide to stay.

Really, what it boils down to, is an open format to creat your own image you feel best fits you as a person, or whatever you want, and use that in a world you creat around it, or any other you see fit to join.

The possibilities are literally endless. But don’t be overwhelmed, take it at your own pace. If you have any questions, or anything makes you uncomfortable in any way, there are many people here to help.
